Role Overview
Accountable for the strategy, governance, growth, and performance, ensuring they operate as integrated, value‑creating extensions of the enterprise. The role focuses on driving scale, efficiency, innovation, talent excellence, and business impact across geographies, while aligning company strategy with global business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Operating Model
- Define and execute the global strategy, aligned with enterprise transformation, growth, and cost‑optimization objectives.
- Establish a standardized yet flexible global operating model balancing global consistency with local market needs.
- Lead decisions on footprint strategy, including location selection, expansion, consolidation, or transformation.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Own governance frameworks, including operating cadences, performance reviews, risk management, and compliance.
- Act as the primary senior interface between leadership and business leaders, enabling trust and strategic alignment.
Service Portfolio & Business Integration
- Oversee the delivery of multi‑functional services such as:
- Technology & Digital
- Finance & Accounting
- HR & Talent Services
- Procurement & Supply Chain
- Analytics, Engineering, and Operations
Talent, Leadership & Culture
- Build strong teams with clear succession planning and leadership development programs.
- Define global talent strategies covering hiring, capability building, retention, diversity, and employee engagement.
- Foster a high‑performance culture focused on innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Own budgeting, financial planning, and cost‑optimization strategies.
- Ensure strong unit economics through productivity improvements, automation, and scale benefits.
- Govern vendor partnerships, sourcing strategies, and commercial models supporting operations.
Transformation, Innovation & Digital Enablement
- Drive process transformation, automation, and digital adoption.
- Measure and communicate business impact through clearly defined value‑realization metrics.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
- Ensure consistent service quality, delivery excellence, and SLA adherence,
- Lead global readiness for regulatory compliance, data security, business continuity, and risk mitigation.
- Establish benchmarks and best‑practice sharing across locations to continuously raise performance standards.
