Job Description
Networking:
- Plans and implements additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure
- Oversees the implementation of network security, the administration and
- maintenance of the company's infrastructure
- Oversees the administration of the company's WAN
Systems:
Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary
Works with project teams to help implement internal systems
Help Desk Administration & Telephony:
Oversees all help desk activities and responds to escalated help desk issues
Oversees the administration and maintenance of the tracking software
Interacts with internal clients to help resolve IT-related issues and provides
solutions in a timely manner
Oversees the planning and management of the company's telephone system
Asset Management:
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products
- Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies
Communication:
Facilitates meetings effectively and holds regular status meetings with team
Keeps team well informed of changes within the organization
Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to superiors
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Relays relevant IT-related information to the company in a timely manner
Real Estate Management Services responsibilities:
- Key member of the Operational Executive Committee for REMS
- Strategic planning of property management systems (CTS) for REMS (Real Estate Management Services) Greater China
- 80 management sites with 1500 users on CTS (Colliers Technology System) platform
- Ability to present IT strategies for business approvals and articulate business requirements
- for subsequent IT projects.
- Comfortable in presenting for both internal & external clients in both languages.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in a IT function for a Real Estate or related industry in China
- Strong hands on IT experience with a good understanding of the real state property management tools and software
- At least 3 years of experience as team leader with proven ability to coach and develop junior staff
- Ability to lead and encourage strong teamwork
- Speak, read and write in English and Mandarin
