Job Description

Colliers is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day building operations, presentation, safety, budgets and stakeholder relationships across a number of client assets. This role will be based in the Brisbane CBD for 3 days a week (although regular visits to Industrial assets will be required), the remaining 2 days will be based at a large retail centre on the Gold Coast.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high presentation standards and proactive day-to-day building operations.
  • Manage tenants, contractors and service partners, including performance and contracts.
  • Complete scheduled inspections and maintain accurate compliance and maintenance records.
  • Plan and manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets, reporting and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage operational risk and WH&S compliance, including incident and hazard reporting.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and significant engineering works/capital upgrades.
  • Drive sustainability and environmental performance improvements.
  • Partner with the Colliers Helpdesk and identify opportunities to expand services.

Qualifications

About you

  • Facilities management/building operations experience (commercial, retail and/or industrial).
  • Strong contractor and tenant management, with a service-focused approach.
  • Budgeting and reporting capability (OPEX/CAPEX).
  • Working knowledge of WH&S, risk and compliance.
  • Ability to coordinate preventative maintenance and engineering/capital works.
  • Safety: You will follow WH&S procedures and legislation, participate in risk assessments/inspections, and report hazards and incidents.
