Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager (m/f) who will actively participate in the conclusion and renewal of contracts, conduct negotiations with clients, optimize insurance coverage and post-contractual processes, and proactively develop interest in the Group’s products and solutions. If you are client-oriented, have well-developed communication and analytical skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic business environment, this is an opportunity to contribute, through your knowledge and experience, to the long-term growth and quality of client relationships.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Active participation in the implementation of the action plan for managing the client portfolio,
  • Managing client relationships (participation in meetings, telephone communication) with the aim of maintaining contracts and achieving expected retention rates,
  • Providing continuous support to clients in interpreting contractual terms, understanding their interests, and delivering high-quality service with prompt responses to inquiries and concerns of clients and/or their intermediaries,
  • Managing the portfolio and achieving agreed targets,
  • Knowledge, analysis, evaluation, and monitoring of the portfolio, as well as preparing pricing in the Group’s pricing tool within the assigned authorization levels, and intervening and coordinating with other departments and supervisors when a higher level of authorization is required,
  • Managing contractual documentation in all prescribed Group tools and providing written and oral reports on clients and intermediaries,
  • Developing cross-selling by encouraging clients to use value-added services,
  • Cooperating with marketing teams and monitoring the results of client satisfaction surveys,
  • Participating in various events such as conferences, fairs, meetings with professional associations, and developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with intermediaries in order to increase the number of potential clients.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Secondary vocational education,
  • At least 6 months of prior experience working with clients (B2B),
  • Excellent command of Croatian and English (spoken and written),
  • Strong sense of responsibility, motivation, and results-oriented mindset,
  • Analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills,
  • Appropriate professional attitude and strong client orientation,
  • Highly developed communication skills,
  • Proficiency in computer use (MS Office),
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

A license for insurance intermediation (HANFA) is an advantage but not a requirement.
