Job Description

The New York office of Clifford Chance seeks a midlevel energy and infrastructure associate to join our energy transition projects team. The role will include drafting and negotiating a broad range of infrastructure contracts, such as offtake, supply, procurement, and operating agreements, and construction agreements, across the energy transition sector (CCUS, hydrogen, renewable fuels, etc.).

Candidates with experience in one or more of the contracting categories this role will cover are encouraged to apply, along with candidates that have experience in a related area of the law and a demonstrated interest in moving into the energy and infrastructure space.

Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $235,000 to $365,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Qualifications

Stellar academic credentials and major law firm experience required. Preferred class years 2019-2022. Submissions must include a resume and law school transcript(s).
