The Department of Planning and Development works in collaboration with communities to promote, plan, preserve, and develop successful neighborhoods for all. Reaching these goals requires city agencies to work together with residents, businesses, developers, advocates, funders, and each other. Planning and Development has a team of agencies that do just that. Our agencies include:

Position Summary

Complete administrative tasks and outreach in support of community organization registration and training
Support maintainance of the Phila2035 blog
Craft updates to the Phila2035 Website
Make administrative updates to our planning recommendation database
Provide research support for nominations for historic sites in districts
Complete and present best practices research in support of district planner work

Student must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university for the Spring 2024 semester. Majors may include Construction, Design or Architecture, Urban Studies, Social Policy or Social Work, Communications and Marketing
