Why You’ll Love This Role

You’ll play a key role in delivering safe and efficient verge collection services. This hands-on role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to make a visible impact across the community.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate skid steer during verge collections
  • Load green waste safely and efficiently
  • Complete daily machinery inspections
  • Perform routine operator maintenance tasks
  • Follow safe work procedures always
  • Communicate using two-way radio systems
  • Support team leaders in field operations
  • Record completed collection areas daily

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an experienced operator with a strong commitment to safety and service. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Nationally accredited skid steer qualification
  • HR Class Driver’s Licence required
  • Strong safety focus and awareness
  • Experience operating skid steer equipment
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • National Police Clearance required
