Behind every great employee experience is a payroll team that gets the details right. As our Payroll Officer, you'll play an essential role in supporting more than 1,600 employees by ensuring pay, leave and superannuation are processed accurately and on time.
Working within our People team, you'll build strong relationships across the organisation while contributing to payroll excellence, process improvements and system enhancements. If you enjoy solving problems, working with complex information and making a genuine impact on people's working lives, this is a role where your expertise will be valued every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process accurate and timely payroll transactions
- Manage employee payroll and leave records
- Administer superannuation contributions and compliance
- Respond to payroll enquiries and requests
- Complete payroll reconciliations and audits
- Support HRIS maintenance and improvements
- Process salary adjustments and back pays
- Partner with leaders to improve processes
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We're looking for a payroll professional who enjoys delivering exceptional service, thrives on accuracy and takes pride in getting the details right. You'll ideally bring:
- Payroll experience in a large organisation
- Strong payroll administration and processing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Office skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
- Experience interpreting Awards and Agreements
- Professional and confidential approach to work

Additional Information
This is a Maximum Term Full-Time position for 12 months.
A satisfactory National Police Clearance is required for this position.
