Salary: From $95,765.08 base salary + super (based on experience)

Job Description

This is a rewarding opportunity to lead and shape community support and transport services that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. You will lead service delivery, people and performance ensuring high quality, person-centred outcomes that support residents to remain living independently. You will supervise a diverse workforce of staff and volunteers, influence operational effectiveness, and play a key role in delivering safe, responsive and customer-focused services that support the City’s community services objectives.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead daily community support and transport service operations
  • Coordinate and supervise Support Workers and Volunteers, including onboarding, rostering and performance
  • Support recruitment of staff and volunteers in collaboration with internal teams
  • Ensure accurate and efficient rostering aligned to customer needs, workforce capability and service priorities
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure high quality, safe and consistent outcomes
  • Identify service improvements, workforce trends and operational efficiencies
  • Contribute to policy, procedure and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, volunteers, customers, families and external stakeholders

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:
We are looking for a proactive and people focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced, community services environment. You’ll bring:

  • Certificate IV in Aged Care Services (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong leadership and team coordination experience, ideally across staff and volunteers
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, person-centred services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
  • Experience in rostering, workforce planning and identifying service delivery gaps
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Understanding of compliance, safety and quality requirements in community or aged care services
  • Experience working with older people, people with disability and/or their families
