Type: Parental Leave Full‑time for 12 months
Salary: From $88,967.41 base salary + super (based on experience)

As an Engagement Officer, you’ll work directly with residents, schools, businesses and partners to deliver meaningful engagement programs that help people feel safer living, working and visiting the City of Stirling. You’ll play a key role in shaping how community safety initiatives are promoted, delivered and experienced across the City.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver community safety engagement programs and events
- Build strong relationships with community stakeholders
- Coordinate and attend community events and presentations
- Support partnerships with schools and local organisations
- Develop and promote community safety initiatives
- Coordinate marketing and promotional campaigns
- Maintain engagement calendars and activity tracking
- Support delivery of large‑scale annual safety events
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an experienced and confident engagement professional who enjoys working with diverse communities. You’ll ideally bring:
- Tertiary qualification or relevant experience
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
- Experience in community safety or crime prevention
- Proven program delivery and event coordination skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Current driver’s licence and police clearance
- Working with Children Check (essential)
