Job Description
Reporting to the Director of the Engineering Audit Bureau (EAB), this position serves as the Deputy Director of the Engineering Audit Bureau; supervises and conducts audits of payment vouchers for construction, equipment and related consultant service contracts in compliance with contractual requirements, Comptroller’s Directives, and audit standards and timelines; Reviews Design & Construction Contract Change Orders; , coordinates with the EAB Director to establishes procedures and policies for EAB staff to monitor for ensure compliance with standards and recommendeds controls for corrective actions; preserves the integrity of the payment process by ensuring that work performed or goods received are in accordance with specifications and industry standards, PPB Rules, and applicable State and Federal regulations; directs a staff of engineering, accounting, analytical and clerical employees performing duties related to the above functions; performs related managerial duties including, but not limited to, preparing status/management reports, attending various meetings with division personnel, and providing performance evaluations for EAB staff.

Qualifications
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in auditing, accounting, finance, economics, statistics, law, quantitative or qualitative research methodology, mathematics, data science, management, public or business administration, computer science/information technology, or a related field, and five years of full-time experience in performance auditing according to Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), information technology auditing, internal auditing and/or financial auditing, at least 18 months of which must have been in a managerial or executive capacity or in the supervision of several teams of auditors.
