Job Description

The Recreation Attendant provides customer service to patrons in the weight room, gymnasium and fitness areas. Attendants are responsible for providing a clean and safe environment, aiding patrons as needed, as well as ensuring guidelines and etiquette is followed. 

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a current Standard First Aid, CPR “C,” and AED certification. 

Additional Information

This position is on call, shifts can be weekdays and weekends between the hours of 5:15am to 10:00pm. Applicants should have the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $19.00 plus 4% vacation pay.

This position will be included in the CUPE bargaining unit once agreement on the terms & conditions of employment are finalized
