Job Description

The City of Mission Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is looking for qualified and enthusiastic instructors to teach Land Fitness (Yoga). Ensure a safe environment in the fitness classes by demonstrating proper form, techniques, and modifications with clear and precise instruction. Applicants should have the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a recognized fitness certificate approved by a creditor plus recent related experience, including working with specialty fitness classes in a fitness facility, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Group Fitness Instructor registration with BCRPA or CFES and Standard First Aid training is considered an asset.

Additional Information

Various Sundays: 8:45-9:45am
The ability to sub Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:45-11:45am would be an asset. 

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $36, plus 4% vacation pay.
