Company Description
Contract length: 3-month, with an immediate start
We are looking for a Head of Treasury to join our Finance team in London, reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting & Control.
As Head of Treasury, you’ll own all treasury-related activities across the Group, including oversight of significant debt facilities, liquidity management, cash forecasting, and compliance with lending agreements. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the full fibre roll-out programme by ensuring capital is managed efficiently and relationships with key banking partners are strong and effective.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead day-to-day Group treasury operations, including cash management, loan drawdowns, and interest payments
- Manage and enhance banking and lender relationships, coordinating timely responses to lender queries
- Oversee cash flow forecasting with a focus on continuous improvement and accuracy
- Ensure covenant reporting and compliance with all debt facilities
- Develop and enforce a robust treasury policy and control environment
- Manage all bank administration, including KYC and onboarding during M&A activity
- Provide insightful treasury reporting and partner with finance teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Line manage and develop the Treasury and Tax Accountant
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACT, AMCT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven treasury leadership experience in a large commercial organisation
- Deep knowledge of cash flow forecasting, funding structures, and risk management
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in team leadership and performance coaching
