How can you change it up?
In this role, you will be focusing on maximizing the volume of TalkTalk full fibre broadband customers connected to our consumer FTTP services, through one of our largest strategic ISP partners. You will be driving the enablement of daily sales through on-boarding, network interconnection, systems integration and aligned sales and marketing activities. By developing and sharing a ‘best practice’ consumer sales and marketing approach, you will be ensuring that TalkTalk is best placed to increase its consumer penetration levels on the CityFibre network. This is a B2B role. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Aiming for high consumer penetration through new customer acquisition and customer migrations
- Exceeding the consumer sales and customer connections targets for the account
- Driving take-up and penetration performance, including success within committed cities leveraging all internal CityFibre resources
- Responsible for forecast management and in-life reporting, the Account Manager, Consumer Sales will work closely with the Customer Commercial and Technical teams to secure regular and accurate city-by-city forecasts that inform our customer delivery teams
- Working with Contract Management team and the Account Director to ensure all consumer-specific contractual obligations are achieved
What will you bring to the role?
We are looking for a relationship-focused commercial leader with significant experience working with or for a Consumer ISP. Alongside this, you will also need to be familiar with working with B2B wholesale contracts relating to ISP’s. A broad commercial skillset across various areas such as, but not limited to, commercial finance and transaction negotiations is crucial. You will need to demonstrate high levels of intellect, allowing you to be an analytical, lateral and quick thinker, with good intuition and judgement. You will have excellent and demonstratable strategic account management skills to develop and own an Account Development Plan (ADP) and co-ordinate internal teams to execute against this plan. In addition to this, you will need:
- A highly professional approach, driving engagements with real tenacity and integrity
- Good presentation writing and public speaking skills
- The ability to work closely with internal and customer delivery teams
- A passion for technology and driving continuous improvements
- A good understanding of the UK residential broadband market in a B2B context
