📍 Work Locations As this is a community-based role, you will be traveling to support clients within their local communities. We proudly provide high-quality care across Basildon and the surrounding areas, primarily covering:
- Brentwood, Billericay, Harlow, Langdon Hills, Pitsea, Havering, Redbridge, Wickford, and the surrounding communities.
🚗 Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence are required due to the geographical nature of the role.
💷 Competitive Pay & Travel Support We know that traveling between clients is a core part of community care, so we make sure you are fully supported and compensated for your time on the road!
- 💰 Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
- ⏱️ Paid Travel Time: You are paid for your travel time between visits (Travel Time Top-Up included!)
- ⛽ Mileage Allowance: 28p per mile
⏰ Shift Patterns Designed for Real Life We know how important work-life balance is. Whether you need shifts that work around family life, or you are looking for full-time consistency, we offer flexible patterns to suit your lifestyle (full-time, part-time, weekdays, and weekends available):
- Day Shifts: 7:00/8:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM
- Evening Shifts: 3:00/4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Job Description
💙 What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day
As a Care Professional, you’ll help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes:
- 💧 Personal Care: Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence support.
- 💊 Medication Support: Helping clients manage their prescriptions safely.
- 🍲 Meal Preparation: Assisting with cooking and nutrition.
- 🛒 Practical Tasks: Shopping and light housekeeping (laundry, tidying).
- 💬 Companionship: Providing vital emotional support and a friendly face.
- 📜 Care Planning: Following personalised plans designed to promote dignity and independence.
Qualifications
🦸 What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape!) You don’t need formal care experience! The skills you’ve gained from raising a family, caring for loved ones, or running a household are exactly what makes a brilliant Care Professional. Full, paid training is provided. We’re looking for:
- ✅ Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for others
- ✅ Reliability and a naturally caring nature
- ✅ Willingness to learn new skills
- ✅ Great communication and a collaborative team spirit
- ✅ The right to work in the UK (Please note: As an employer, we are unfortunately unable to offer Visa sponsorship).
