Location: Peckham (SE15)

Pay Rate: £15.22 per hour

Shifts Available: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Days - 7:30am - 4pm

What you'll do

The client is a young lady in her teenage years who has a multitude of complex care needs due to SMA Type-2, and during your day-to-day, you will be monitoring her various clinical needs, which include the following:

• Tracheostomy Management
• Ventilation Support
• PEG Feeding For Medication Administration & Hydration via Mic-Key Button
• Suctioning For Respiratory Secretions
• Catheter & Stoma Care
• Moving & Handling (Wheelchair & Hoist)
• Performing personal care and domestic duties when required, school preparations.

What you'll need

Experience in complex care is required for position, especially in the following:

• Tracheostomy
• Ventilators (NIPPY 4)
• PEG / Gastronomy Care
• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management
• Administering medication via PEG
• Suction machines
• Moving & handling equipment. (Wheelchair & Hoist)
