Job Description

Salary Range:

The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 yearly.  The pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across a portfolio of IT projects, using data to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decision-making within a government IT organization.
  • Identify, manage, and analyze relevant KPIs/metrics for an IT portfolio and align them with organizational goals/strategies.
  • Gather data from various sources and analyze the data against established metrics.
  • Create visual dashboards and reports to present portfolio insights to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Regularly monitor portfolio performance and identify trends and potential risks.
  • Identify opportunities to refine data collection methods and improve the overall portfolio management reporting process.
  • Provides support in the evaluation and analysis of multiple portfolios of information technology-related work.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates high aptitude for problem-solving methodologies for highly complex issues using data-driven decision-making practices.
  • Specializes in independently instituting proven portfolio management concepts including business and IT alignment, prioritization, budgeting, identifying roles and responsibilities, and service delivery.
  • Demonstrates expertise in applying creative solutions to highly complex business analysis efforts to help mature CIOO operations
  • Exhibits strong communication skills by articulating ideas and concepts verbally and in writing, team facilitation, formal document writing, and presenting to senior executive groups.  
  • Provide insight into various organizations to understand their challenges and share what strategies have been effective.
  • The candidate must be able to think beyond just completing tasks—someone who takes a broader perspective and can suggest additional enhancements or improvements beyond the initial request.
  • Provide insight into industry best practices.
  • Adaptable to support the team's vision and mission amidst an ongoing functional transformation.
  • Solid background in displaying data/reporting data.
  • Process-driven, metric-focused, results-oriented, organized, and self-directed.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, mastery of portfolio management tools, and ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior-level personnel.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience utilizing dashboards
  • ServiceNow experience
  • Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI & Power Apps)

Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field of study

Clearance Requirement:

  • The ability to obtain an FDIC Public Trust
  • US Citizenship is required.
