Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Sr. Commercial Property Accountant for Commercial/Retail properties that will be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, CAM reconciliations, and preparing month-end close procedures at our corporate office in Irving, Texas. 


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  •  Verify and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with our established schedule
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO's attention
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Set up CAM worksheets, and pools as necessary
  • Complete year-end CAM reconciliations
  • Assist with annual property budget process
  • Assist with audits
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
     

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree (Bachelors) in Accounting, Business Admin, or related field - Required
  • Minimum 5 consecutive years of accounting experience - Required
  • Minimum 2 consecutive years of supervisory experience - Required
  • At least 2 years experience in property management (Commercial/Retail) accounting - Preferred
  • Yardi Software experience - Preferred

Additional Information

Position is an on-site position at our office location: 600 East John Carpenter Freeway, Suite 234, Irving, Texas  75062.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9am - 6pm) 

Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 salary
