We are looking to add to a Full-Stack Developer to our team where you'll be at the forefront of designing and crafting innovative programs and applications that make a real impact. You'll thrive in a full-stack development environment, where your versatility will shine as you tackle everything from website and web application development to back-end CMS solutions. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Project Managers, the Visual Arts Team, Ministry Partners, and Department Directors, ensuring that your creations align with both technical and creative visions.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Front-end Development – Will utilize HTML & JavaScript to develop front-facing websites and applications
- Back-end Development – Will utilize C# to maintain and extend our in-house CMS
- API Work – Will utilize C# to write APIs that communicate with client applications
- Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
- Collaborate with a team of creative designers and project managers to set specifications for new applications
- Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
- Perform integration testing before launch
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features
- Develop technical documents to accurately represent application design and code
- Utilize industry standard tools to automate code deployment
- Help guide the architecture and technology design for CCV’s future
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide constructive feedback on code through pull request reviews.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to promptly address incidents impacting our digital platforms and provide support to ministry and campus teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in cloud/datacenter operations, DevOps, or software engineering/development.
- Proven experience in designing and building applications
- In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
- Skilled in programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Swift, along with APIs and software development methodologies.
- Experience in the following technologies: ASP.Net & ASP.Net Core, Xamarin, Azure Web Apps, Azure Virtual Machines / Infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent certifications and experience also considered.
