Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Working within our Operational Excellence organisation, identifying the needs for process improvement and delivering guides, workflows & ways of working for the merchant support teams.
- Supporting the Head of Merchant Operations by collaborating with key stakeholders to define and implement the required processes that will support the Merchant Care and Merchant Configuration teams.
- Taking existing processes, unwinding, rebuilding and reimagining them so that they result in a world-class merchant experience.
- Identifying business process challenges through data analysis and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensuring our process flows are frictionless, by creating a high standard of documentation for use globally.
- Providing clear and concise presentation of findings and design plans to stakeholders globally.
Qualifications
About You:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience in operations, specifically in a merchant or business support function within the payments industry. Experience or expertise in merchant onboarding and post-onboarding account life-cycle issues, preferably with exposure to both acquiring and issuing products.
- 1-2 years of process excellence experience, managing operational processes and projects across multiple global teams and geographical locations.
- Experience in developing and designing processes, mapping out flowcharts and implementing procedures.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment where you have successfully managed, coordinated, executed and maintained multiple projects or processes in a deadline-driven environment.
- Possess a passion for understanding the future state of Checkout to design and build practices and processes to scale.
- You are a mission-driven individual who will demonstrate the Checkout Operating Principles every day.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
