Job Description

As Director of Communities, you will be responsible for providing clear, visible, and motivational leadership to a portfolio of community services, including Catch22’s placed-based hub in London; Community Links (www.community-links.org/).

You will be accountable for delivering high quality and impactful services with robust financial plans to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively and within approved resources. You will ensure that both Community Links’ vision and objectives align with the overarching mission and values of Catch22.

You will achieve this by developing strategic plans that set out the roadmap for performance, managing against key metrics, impact reporting and ensuring that services are financially sustainable, engaging and safe environments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • A relevant qualification plus extensive experience in a field relevant to our community services. eg 
    • risk and resilience,
    • social prescribing
    • advice services
    • social care
    • community mental health and wellbeing
    • substance misuse
    • local children, young people and families services 
  • Experience of operational and strategic leadership in a community or place-based charity or non-profit organisation
  • Experience of delivering innovation in service delivery.
  • An ability to lead an inspire a diverse workforce.
  • An ability to engage and communicate with a range of external stakeholders, partner organisations and commissioners/funders
  • Level 6 management qualification, or equivalent experience

Additional Information

Salary: £60,000 per annum
Hours of work: Full time, 38 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Contract: Permanent
Location: This role will be based in 105 Barking Road, Canning Town, London for at least 3 days per week, with occasional additional travel required.
