Radiology Technician - CT Benefits:

  • Pay: $31.97 hourly, plus shift differentials and premium pay where applicable
  • Benefits: A comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. 
  • Sign -On Bonus of $6,000 
  • Loan repayment assistance for qualifying student loans, up to a maximum of $15,000. 
  • Hours: Full-time, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Thursday (32 hours/week). Includes weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations.

REQUIREMENTS for Radiology Technician - CT:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent degree 
  • Completion of a military radiology program or completion of a hospital based radiology program required.  
  •  Approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 
  • 1 year of practical experience as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent is required 
  • Graduate working under a valid Student Rad Tech license: Must maintain a valid X-Ray Machine Operators License from the Indiana State Department of Health within 6 months post-graduation 
  • Current Registration from ARRT required within 90 days post-graduation, required CE credits must be maintained in accordance with accrediting bodies requirements 
  • Registered Computer Tomography (CT) with AART required within 12 months of hire 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Associate (AHA) required 

Essential Functions:

  • Broad Imaging Services Department that performs an average of 80,000 exams per year and offering CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultra Sound, Nuclear Medicine and all digital X-Ray 
  • Our Imaging Services Department supports Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Departments 
  • Provides health care services applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment. 
  • Performs computed tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. 
  • Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient's conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
