Job Description

Specific responsibilities for the Organizational Change Management Consultant position may include, but are not limited to:   

  • Focus on the "people side of change", including changes to business processes, systems, technologies, and AI-enabled solutions, ensuring adoption and value realization from technology initiatives.  

  • Quickly become familiar with client business challenges, technologies and AI use cases to understand the environment for change and serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders while leading change initiatives.  

  • Own the development and execution of change management approaches for the full lifecycle of a project, from initial kick-off and planning through to project go-live and close-out. 

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data using AI-assisted techniques to develop evidence-based findings, insights, and recommendations that inform change strategies, tactical plans and adoption risk management, 

  • Develop comprehensive, AI-informed change management strategies to support complex change initiatives, including strategies for stakeholder communication and engagement, change sponsorship/leadership, adult learning and development, resistance management and/or adoption and readiness measurement. 

  • Develop tactical plans for, organize, and manage the execution  of project activities that implement change approaches (e.g., training sessions, project roadshows, stakeholder interviews/focus groups, etc.)  

  • Identify people, readiness, and adoption risks associated with changes, and develop proactive response strategies. 

  • Facilitate client interactions (e.g., stakeholder interviews, leadership meetings, design sessions, and workshops) to accelerate decision-making and alignment. 

  • Create and draft communications across multiple formats and styles with clear, concise messaging appropriate to the stakeholder group(s), leveraging AI tools to do so when appropriate.  

  • Interact with, support and assess stakeholders, executing the engagement strategy to align their interests with the project or initiative, and leveraging their influence to promote adoption.  

  • Design and develop AI-enabled learning approaches utilizing appropriate mechanisms (e.g., simulations, self-paced learning, adaptive learning paths, assessments, exams), ensuring alignment to adult learning principles and measurable learning outcomes.  

  • Create and review leaning content suitable for a variety of delivery approaches to support change activities or initiatives. 

  • Coordinate and lead adult learning activities, including project team or end user training sessions and Train-the-Trainer programs. 

  • Design and implement AI-supported measurement approaches (e.g., surveys, readiness assessments, sentiment analysis, adoption and usage metrics) to evaluate stakeholder adoption and to identify interventions needed to promote change sustainment. 

Qualifications

Qualifications for the Organizational Change Management Consultant position include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience  

  • 6+ years’ experience delivering enterprise-scale change management within large organizations.  

  • Proficient in MS Office or Google applications.  

  • Strong written communication skills that are effective for a range of audiences (e.g., end users, executives) and channels. 

  • Strong verbal communication skills that are effective at all levels of an organization (e.g., stakeholder interviews, focus group facilitation, sponsor updates, etc.)  

  • Ability to establish credibility and trust with clients through excellent interpersonal and communication skills and understanding of team dynamics.   

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of common change management methodologies and tools (e.g., ACMP Standard, Prosci, Kotter, etc.)
