Job Description
CapTech is seeking a talented and versatile dotCMS Developer with proficiency in working with UI mock ups and converting them to pages, to join our dynamic team. As a dotCMS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and content management systems using dotCMS. The ideal candidate should also possess skills in WordPress development to provide comprehensive CMS expertise.
Develop, customize, and maintain web applications using dotCMS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Customize and extend dotCMS features to meet project specifications.
Integrate dotCMS with other systems and third-party applications as needed.
Provide support and troubleshooting for dotCMS-related issues.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in dotCMS and WordPress development.
Utilize WordPress expertise to contribute to projects involving WordPress CMS.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Proven experience in dotCMS development with a strong understanding of CMS concepts.
Development skills in other areas including Wordpress, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies would be a strong preference.
Experience with RESTful web services and API integrations.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
