Job Description
CapTech is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Contracts and Compliance functions to support our growth-oriented business model. This professional will guide a high performing team of internal contract managers and external counsel to support their work with sophisticated CapTech clients, business partners, and vendors.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing oversight and direction to the team responsible for analyzing and negotiating complex consulting and IT services and licensing agreements with CapTech’s Fortune 100 clients. Direct interaction with CapTech executives and clients expected.
- Establishing and leveraging collaborative relationships with internal clients in the CapTech sales, operations and executive teams to inform efficient and effective negotiations with CapTech clients.
- Implementing standards for contract risk tolerance in dynamic, evolving procurement environments. Evaluating and ultimate approval of exceptions in CapTech standards.
- Developing creative solutions related to contract risk distribution and mitigation.
- Supporting the negotiation of marketing agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, supply agreements, license agreements, SaaS agreements, and general terms and conditions in a variety of other commercial contracts.
- Advising CapTech business teams on appropriate risk mitigated contract terms and conditions.
- Providing oversight and direction to the team responsible for managing clients’ supplier qualification diligence requests and integrating CapTech’s compliance strategies with client contracting standards and fulfillment.
- Setting compliance and governance frameworks that align with a full enterprise view of accepted contract risk.
- Supporting CapTech business teams with interpreting and fulfilling contractual obligations to clients in conjunction with their establishment and enforcement of CapTech operational risk management strategies.

- Deeply experienced in developing contract and contract compliance monitoring frameworks.
- An exceptional coach and advocate who can raise the level of contract risk awareness and acumen across all levels in the organization.
Qualifications
- An expert professional with 10 or more years of commercial contracting, compliance, or procurement experience in corporate or law firm environments.
- A JD strongly preferred.
- Information Technology contracting, services or product experience is strongly preferred.
- Consulting experience is a plus.
