  • Full-time
  • Recruitment type: Permanent

Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hello, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub in San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

  • Serve as the primary strategic business partner to the Head of Public Sector Sales, supporting global planning, execution, and decision-making.

  • Own forecasting and pipeline health for the Public Sector business, including rollups, risk assessment, scenario modeling, and executive readouts.

  • Lead and operate Pipeline Council / Deal Reviews, ensuring rigor, consistency, and actionable follow-ups.

  • Own our Quarterly Business Review (QBR) in partnership with the Head of Public Sector Sales.

  • Build and maintain advanced models covering pipeline coverage, conversion, capacity, and attainment.

  • Partner closely with Sales Ops, Finance, and RevOps to ensure Public Sector is well represented in global planning cycles.

  • Identify structural opportunities to improve GTM efficiency, deal velocity, and predictability in the Public Sector motion.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional Public Sector leaders, balancing governance with pragmatism.

  • Translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

You're probably a match if

We’re searching for someone who’s not only analytical but also thrives on making complexity feel simple. You’re motivated by building systems that empower people, and you see the ripple effect of your work across teams. You care about accuracy and clarity, but you’re also excited by the creative challenge of designing incentive models that inspire. Most importantly, you’re someone who enjoys balancing strategy with action—rolling up your sleeves and finding solutions in ambiguity, while always keeping the bigger picture in sight.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring both technical excellence and a proactive, people-first approach:

    • 7+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Ops, or GTM Strategy, ideally within a hyper-growth B2B SaaS environment.

    • Public Sector experience strongly preferred, including familiarity with longer sales cycles, procurement complexity, and deal governance.

    • Exceptional analytical and modeling skills (advanced Excel/Google Sheets; SQL strongly preferred).

    • Proven ability to operate as a thought partner to senior sales leadership.

    • Strong business judgment — you know when to push for rigor and when to enable speed.

    • Clear, confident communicator who can influence without authority.

    • Comfortable operating globally across regions, time zones, and sales motions.

About the team

We’re looking for a Field Operations & Strategy Lead to act as the primary strategic and operational thought partner to our Head of Public Sector Sales. This is a global, high-impact role sitting at the intersection of sales execution, analytics, and strategy.

You will operate with one foot firmly in the Public Sector sales motion and the other in Ops & Strategy — helping shape how we plan, forecast, inspect, and scale the business. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong quantitative rigor with the ability to influence senior sales leaders and operate comfortably in ambiguity.

This is not a back-office role — you will be embedded in the field, deeply connected to pipeline, forecasts, deal strategy, and operating cadence.
