Sales & Design Consultant

At California Closets, our designers don’t sell products off a shelf – they create custom solutions that clients decide to move forward with.

This role is about creating solutions, not selling products. Our designers’ partner with clients to understand how they live, translate that into thoughtful designs, and guide decisions with confidence. The sale happens when the design resonates — so curiosity, problem-solving, and the ability to lead clients through ambiguity are essential.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct in-home and showroom design consultations
  • Diagnose client needs, lifestyle patterns, and constraints
  • Create custom designs using proprietary software
  • Present and refine concepts with confidence
  • Guide clients through trade-offs and decisions
  • Manage projects from first meeting through installation
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience built on trust
  • Own your schedule and manage your pipeline responsibly
