The Senior CSA Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for civil, structural, and architectural components of projects. This role requires expertise in CSA disciplines and strong experience managing cost databases to support reliable and competitive bids.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed CSA discipline estimates for all project phases.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Collaborate with design teams and project managers to validate scope and pricing.
• Maintain and manage cost databases (Sage, Trimble, etc.) for CSA disciplines.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide input on constructability and value engineering opportunities.
• Support risk analysis and contingency planning for CSA estimates.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in CSA estimating within industrial or commercial construction.
• Proficiency in estimating software and cost databases (Sage, Trimble, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of CSA systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Familiarity with BIM tools and integration with estimating platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to develop custom estimating templates.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ASPE, AACE) are a plus.
