Job Description
CIMA+ is expanding its presence across the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH) and Ontario. Our Earth and Environment team is seeking a Senior Geoscientist or Environmental Engineer to play a key leadership role in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects.
In this position, you will lead and contribute to high-impact environmental projects, including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Excess Soils Management, and brownfield redevelopment projects. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle—from proposal development and strategic positioning to technical delivery, quality assurance, and client relationship management.
As a senior member of the team, you will also act as a trusted advisor, ensuring best practices, managing risks, and mentoring the next generation of professionals, all while contributing to the growth and visibility of our services in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary environmental and engineering projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Act as a senior technical reference, overseeing methodologies and conducting final reviews of deliverables.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, client relationship management, and strategic positioning.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and manage project risks while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering technical excellence and professional development.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, earth science, or environmental engineering (required); graduate degree (M.Sc., M.A.Sc., M.Env.) is an asset.
Professional Membership: Registered with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) (required).
Experience: 10+ years of experience in environmental site investigations.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulations.

- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Commitment to quality, technical rigor, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Other Requirements:
- Valid Canadian driver’s license (required).
- French language skills (an asset).
