Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic Professional in Geoscience, Hydrogeology or Environmental Engineering to join our Earth and Environment team.

In this role, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects by supporting coordination and delivering technical work both in the field and in the office. Our team leads impactful work in environmental due diligence, brownfield redevelopment, and hydrogeological investigations—helping shape more sustainable communities.

Based in our Ottawa office, you’ll collaborate with a strong local team while also leveraging the expertise of colleagues across Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project coordination for planning and execution of field work.
  • Fieldwork including soil and groundwater sampling, drilling, hydraulic testing and contractor oversight.
  • Data entry and data management – including field and laboratory analytical data.
  • Data analysis - including hydraulic testing, soil and groundwater data, tables, and figures.
  • Produce and analyze geomatic data related to the environment (Map Info, ArcGis, CAD) in partnership with our Geomatics Department.
  • Technical report writing (Phase I and II ESA, Hydrogeological Investigations, Excess Soil Planning Documents, etc.).
  • Maintain healthy collaboration with various internal departments and clients in order to support business development and visibility for the Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, earth science, or environmental engineering (required).
  • 1 to 5 years of experience conducting or participating in environmental field investigations.
  • Qualified for registration as a Professional Geoscientists or Professional Engineers in Ontario (an asset).
  • Graduate degree (M.Sc., M.A.Sc., M.Env.) (an asset).
  • Focus on technical excellence, quality control and on-going professional development.
  • Interpersonal skills to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Command of the French language (an asset).
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license (required).
  • Integrity, team spirit and a commitment to excellence.
