You will work closely with port authorities, terminal operators, marine agencies, and Indigenous partners to align CIMA+’s multidisciplinary expertise with the evolving needs of Canada’s marine gateways — from capital expansion and asset renewal to climate resilience, sustainability, and digital innovation.

The role can be based out of any of our 40 offices in Canada.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with port authorities, marine terminal operators, and public-sector stakeholders
  • Lead business development efforts and position CIMA+ for upcoming port and marine infrastructure opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams across transportation, environment, energy, coastal engineering, and digital services

  • Ports and marine infrastructure
  • Coastal and climate-resilience planning
  • Environmental approvals and sustainability
  • Asset management and modernization initiatives
  • Represent CIMA+ at key industry events and forums
  • Contribute to long-term market strategy and growth across Canada

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in ports, marine, coastal, or transportation infrastructure
  • Proven success in senior client leadership, market development, or business growth roles
  • Strong understanding of port governance, marine infrastructure delivery, and regulatory environments
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including public agencies and Indigenous partners
  • Ability to connect technical expertise with client needs and strategic outcomes
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
