Job Description

Mission  

CIMA+ is looking for a site supervisor to ensure the smooth running of our clients’ projects in building mechanics. 

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the engineering industry (civil, structural, electrical or mechanical) as well as a facility for solving various types of problems. They will provide personalized professional services in the context of multidisciplinary projects in the Greater Montréal area.

This position offers the opportunity to evolve within a wealth-creating industry and to perfect your knowledge and skills in the building sector, while collaborating with colleagues from many different disciplines.

You will benefit from our hybrid work model, which allows you to work on our construction sites, in one of our offices or from home, depending on the needs and requirements of our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure the coordination of various stakeholders in a variety of institutional and hospital projects
  • Ensure work supervision and system start-up
  • Monitor site progress and keep the project manager informed of any delays or issues
  • Apply site guidelines with the support of the design team
  • Conduct site visits
  • Ensure work compliance and provide technical support
  • Attend site meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with an engineering title recognized by the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec
  • Three years’ experience in building mechanical design or site supervision
  • Proven experience in building mechanics, having developed effective site management skills and a good command of techniques
  • Excellent communication and priority management skills
  • Certificate of training in construction site safety (ASP Construction card)
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
