Mission 

We are currently seeking a Senior Surveyor Party Chief to join our Edmonton office. You will join our growing Geomatics team as our many projects in Alberta are expanding. 

We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from our Edmonton office.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Execute Field Surveys on Legal, Construction and Engineering projects 

• Liaise with Project Managers to coordinate field survey work, to review and manage project budgets, timeline requirements, priorities, and survey methodology 
• Participate in the business development of the Geomatics sector 
• Provide training, guidance, supervision, and mentorship to other colleagues 
• Contribute to the recruitment of the team 

• Diploma or degree in Surveying / Geomatics 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Geomatics industry, including a minimum of 2 years of experience in Legal Field Surveys 
• Proficiency with GPS/Robotic Total Station hardware and Trimble software  
• Detailed understanding of construction and legal surveys 
• Ability to calculate and check survey plans and grade sheets 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
