Job Description
Mission
We are currently seeking a Senior Surveyor Party Chief to join our Edmonton office. You will join our growing Geomatics team as our many projects in Alberta are expanding.
We offer a flexible hybrid work model, enabling you to work from home and from our Edmonton office.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute Field Surveys on Legal, Construction and Engineering projects
- Liaise with Project Managers to coordinate field survey work, to review and manage project budgets, timeline requirements, priorities, and survey methodology
- Participate in the business development of the Geomatics sector
- Provide training, guidance, supervision, and mentorship to other colleagues
- Contribute to the recruitment of the team
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Surveying / Geomatics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Geomatics industry, including a minimum of 2 years of experience in Legal Field Surveys
- Proficiency with GPS/Robotic Total Station hardware and Trimble software
- Detailed understanding of construction and legal surveys
- Ability to calculate and check survey plans and grade sheets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
