About the Opportunity:

As the Senior National Program Manager, you will lead client service, manage the field and operations teams and be primarily responsible in ensuring Best in Class Planning and performance across all client programs, through on-going evolution of processes, capability and efficiencies in line with client and retail requirements.

The Senior National Program Manager will be responsible for building strong foundations with key stakeholders to foster a win-win outcome. While leading a field team you will drive Best in Class Planning and Execution of the client program, superior client service, on-going evolution of processes, capability and efficiencies in line with client and retail requirements. As the strategic lead you will provide direction to the field team, making informed decisions that will develop and improve retail activations. 

This role suits someone you can juggle conflicting priorities and meet client deadlines while leading the team with a tenacious and adaptable attitude to anticipate both our business and the client’s needs.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates and sustains long term client relationships through understanding of their business and priorities
  • Leads or supports win/win negotiations in challenging circumstances that lead to stronger strategic partnerships
  • Analyses the client satisfaction feedback and develops benchmarks and upon which to base strategies for continuous improvement
  • Builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to achieve optimal service levels for the client
  • Leads or participates in focused and professional business review presentations and pitches weekly, monthly and quarterly
  • Continuous enhance operational systems, processes, and policies to support business and client objectives, with a focus on improving management reporting, information flow, and planning. 
  • Proactively seek and deliver opportunities to introduce innovation that drives improved sales performance and execution in field
  • Effective management of projects as required by the business unit and client
  • Scopes project requirements including timeframes, key stakeholder inputs and coordination of multifunctional resources
  • Identifies the key financial drivers and sets appropriate KPIs to focus performance, along with developing and aligning budgets to achieve strategic goals

About You:

  • Sales / team management experience within retail preferred 
  • Retail Marketing / management qualifications desirable
  • Prior experience in account service or related industry
  • Field experience and a solid understanding of field management activities
  • Advanced computer skills (excel, word, etc) 
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Experience in financial management
  • Strong organisation skills
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
