Fleet Manager (Powered Industrial Trucks) (EN-THE-HEM-2026-146-LD)

  • Contract

Company Description

At CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. Using the world's largest and most complex scientific instruments, they study the basic constituents of matter - fundamental particles that are made to collide together at close to the speed of light. The process gives physicists clues about how particles interact, and provides insights into the fundamental laws of nature.

Job Description

Introduction

The Engineering Department (EN) provides CERN with the Engineering expertise, Infrastructure Systems, and Technical Coordination necessary for the design, installation, operation, maintenance and dismantling phases of the CERN accelerator complex and its experimental facilities.

The position is within the Transport and Handling Engineering Group (EN-THE), which is responsible for preparing, organising, and coordinating all transport and handling operations for the CERN accelerators and experiments. The Group also manages the transport of thousands of conventional and unconventional items, as well as chemical and radioactive products, each year.

As a Technical Engineer in EN-THE, you will be part of the Handling Equipment Maintenance (EN-HE-HEM) Section, which manages and maintains all the industrial transport, handling and lifting equipment to ensure reliable performance throughout its lifecycle.
