Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Technical Writer to help manage our internal knowledgebase. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between technical systems and high-level project pipelines. You will interview artists and programmers to document software and internal processes, ensuring that our studio's vital knowledge is captured, organized, and accessible.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and edit documentation for software under development, ranging from low-level engine tools to high-level project workflows.
  • Maintain and evolve our Confluence knowledge base, ensuring a clear structure and accuracy.
  • Create and implement documentation templates that help our devs contribute more easily.
  • Proactively identify gaps in our internal knowledge and interview Subject Matter Experts to fill them.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical writing.
  • Fluency in English and Polish (written and spoken). While we document and communicate primarily in English, you must be comfortable navigating our Polish studio environment.
  • No fear of talking. You are confident in approaching busy developers and artists to extract information.
  • A strong ability to learn software development concepts quickly.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple research topics in a fast-paced production environment.


Nice to have

  • Previous experience within the games industry.
  • Familiarity with Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine.

Estimated pay range for this position: 6 100 - 8 400 PLN gross monthly.
