Job Description

For our Legal team, we're looking for an enthusiastic Junior Legal Counsel interested in the video games industry. If you're a great team-player who knows and likes IP law, demonstrates good communication skills and a can-do attitude, we can’t wait to hear from you!

Daily responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Business & Intellectual Property team, specialising in legal matters related to game development, franchise expansion, and brand protection. Specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Working with documents related to the ongoing activities of CD PROJEKT group companies (e.g. drafting and reviewing contracts, letters such as cease & desist letters, policies and regulations).
  • Providing ongoing legal advice on matters related to CD PROJEKT’s business activity (e.g. asset clearance, analysis of terms & conditions, player communication, ensuring product compliance with relevant laws and regulations).
  • Developing solutions and recommendations that balance legal aspects with business needs.
  • Contributing to various projects involving other teams (e.g. participating in anti-infringement and anti-piracy efforts).

Qualifications

  • Current student of the final year of Polish law studies or a recent graduate.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional legal experience.
  • Knowledge of contract and intellectual property law.
  • Growth mindset with a desire to continuously learn.
  • Interest in the video game industry.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in both Polish and English, including legal terminology.

Nice to have
(Please note that these skills are not required to apply for the position)

  • Legal trainee status (aplikant adwokacki or radcowski).
  • Interest in foreign legal frameworks, particularly US and UK law.
  • Playing video games.
