Job Description
BryceTech is currently looking for Test Analyst III. This position will be supporting Joint Product Manager Chemical Detection & Mobile Analytics (CDMA). Joint Product Manager (JPdM) CDMA delivers and provides chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense Sensor Capabilities and Mobile Laboratories to the Warfighter early enough to reduce risk, enable command decisions, and counter weapons of mass destruction both domestically and globally.
Qualifications
The Person in this role will:
- Provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) advice and recommendations in accordance with DOD standard acquisition and policy, as it is related to Developmental Test (DT) / Operational Test (OT). In addition, perform all aspects of planning and technical analysis related to T&E activities for Joint Product Leader Chemical Sensors programs.
- Provide T&E analysis to the Product Manager or lead test engineer.
- Develop a master test schedule in accordance with the agreed upon test strategy, incorporating it into the program integrated master schedule (IMS) (in conjunction with functional leads) and updating it as necessary.
- Map technical requirements into verification methods and directly facilitate writing Section Four of the system performance specification (i.e., Verification). ensure alignment and traceability with the program’s Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrix.
- Coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders for input to Chemical Sensors Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs). also facilitate development of TEMPs, which shall be prepared in a Department of Defense (DoD) specified format; describe the amount and types of testing; and identify the integrated objectives, responsibilities, resources, and schedules of all tests, evaluations, or assessments to be accomplished in support of the systems development and procurement process.
- Develop, and staff all required test related documentation for Chemical Sensors programs (i.e., test plans, test reports, and other required DOD test acquisition documentation).
- Participate in, lead, and provide input to program functional integrated product teams (IPTs), working groups, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Integrated Program Reviews (IPRs), systems engineering reviews, milestone decisions, and other required program reviews.
- Integrate other functional areas (i.e., systems engineering and logistics) into T&E planning. ensure the T&E effort is coordinated with and incorporated into other functional area strategies and events (e.g., systems engineering reviews, logistical demonstrations, etc.).
- Provide test and evaluation input to contractual documentation including, at a minimum, the performance work statements (PWSs), Source Selection Plans (SSPs), and Performance Specifications (PSpecs).
- Review vendor document deliverables and provide timely, informed engineering feedback.
REQUIREMENTS (i.e., Education, Experience):
The experience and certification requirements listed below are essential to successfully perform the tasks above:
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, scientific or operational research specialization or related discipline
- Ten (10) years of experience in testing planning. Provide test development, plan testing, reviewing the test design, or executing test design of military systems.
- be able to use the Microsoft Office Suite of software applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) to create and maintain documents and communications.
