Job Description

Brightspeed is looking for a Regional Channel Manager to join our team! The Regional Channel Manager oversees the expansion, management and optimizes the sales performance of the company's local sales channels, including but not limited to Agents, D2D, Retail, Events, etc.  Managers will be accountable for sales objective attainment and compliance of all local tactics executed within their assigned footprint. 

Improved Sales Channel Management:

  • Assist Manager, Sales Channel - Door To Door & National Partners in implementing and managing existing and new sales channels
  • Deliver more efficient channel management, enhancing the sales performance/productivity of the Door-to-Door and National Partner Alternate Sales Channel Group.

Business Development and Expansion:

  • Focus on identifying potential partnerships and conducting market analysis to uncover opportunities for increased sales volume.
  • Diversify revenue streams and increase market share for Brightspeed Fiber Internet. 
  • Assist in execution of strategies and initiatives designed by the Director or Manager, Sales Channel - Door To Door & National Partners
  • Monitor & support the partners' performance and provide regular reports to the Director or Manager, Sales Channel - Door To Door & National Partners

Enhanced Sales Team Performance:

  • Ensure sales team operates efficiently and effectively, leading to improved sales performance and revenue growth.

Better Partner Relationships:

  • Foster and maintain relationships with key partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and maximizing mutual benefits.

Explore 3PL Big Box Retailer Partnerships:

  • Support establishment of partnerships with big box retailers.
  • Work closely with partners to manage authorized sales agents in retail stores, optimizing sales volume, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to sales strategies.

Build & Support Affinity/Affiliate Programs:

  • Conduct business development with Manager, Sales Channel - Door To Door & National Partners to identify and engage local businesses and organizations as potential Brightspeed Ambassadors.
  • Develop turnkey processes that make it simple to drive the maximum number of sales.
  • Facilitate the rollout of incentive programs for partners, ensuring seamless execution.

Implement Realtor Rewards Program:

  • Develop turnkey processes that make it simple to drive the maximum number of sales.
  • Monitor and report on the program's progress and impact.

Coordinate Events-Based Program:

  • Work with community leaders & MDU team in new markets to support the organization and execution of in-market events.
  • Liaise with Direct Door-to-Door Sales, Local Presence Centers, and other dealers to ensure a strong event presence.

The Regional Channel Sales additional responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the delivery of sales training programs for external partners.
  • Support the execution of door-to-door sales and go-to-market launch plans.
  • Manage and update leads and CRM database as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to address escalations and provide solutions.
  • Review & submit commission files to accounts payable, ensuring accuracy & budget alignment
  • Conduct order audits and call calibrations to maintain high-quality sales experiences.
  • Analyze sales reports and data, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales partners to optimize sales through weekly accountability meetings.
  • Assist in day-to-day channel management and onboarding of new partners.

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • College Degree 
  •  2-5 years of experience managing sales teams
  • Results oriented, analytical, willing to take initiative
  • Specific experience managing the sales performance of 3rd Party sales partners
  • Experience selling residential telecommunications solutions
  • Travel up to 25-30%
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
