Responsible for Jockey’s tack, saddles and equipment.

• Saddle horses prior to race time in the paddock.
• Clean Jockey’s tack between races.
• Pick up all Jockey’s tack at the track when trainers unsaddle their horses.
• Make sure they put saddle towels and saddles on the right horses.

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Must be a well-rounded horseperson. 
• Prior general experience with horses including the care of several (5 to 15) horses at one time. 
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, and twist throughout shift. 
• Must have excellent communication skills. 
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
