Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Human Resources Specialist to support key HR initiatives and partner with leadership to drive employee engagement, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. The Senior HR Specialist serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing expertise in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, payroll, and HR operations.

The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional with strong business acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilites 

  • Partner with managers and employees to provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, and onboarding.
  • Conduct Level 1 employee investigations and assist in resolving workplace concerns while ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Administer and support employee benefits programs, leave administration, and payroll
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data while generating reports and workforce analytics.
  • Assist with compensation reviews, salary benchmarking, and job description development.
  • Support employee engagement programs and culture-building activities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior HR team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of human resources experience preferred or equivalent education
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications.
  • Must have knowledge in Workday and Smart Recruiter. 
  • Must be able to obtain gaming licenses as required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
