How you can make your mark
Make your mark as a travel coordinator as Gardline!

The successful candidate will be expected to effectively coordinate, manage and execute all travel arrangements for the entire survey operations, ensuring optimum service delivery and meeting managers and clients project expectations. Engaging, managing and supporting processes which enable and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of project and operational tasks.

Your responsibilities as a travel coordinator:

  • Plan and Execute travel provision for personnel allocated to survey vessels and any other company travel requests
  • Arrange booking of Flights, Hire Cars, Accommodation, Taxis, Trains, Ferries and any other form of transport required to meet requirement
  • Provide communication to personnel with regards to travel dates and times
  • Provide communication to personnel about changes to travel and provision of timely information to inform crew regarding travel arrangements
  • Provide direct support and liaison for onshore and offshore personnel regarding travel issues
  • Liaise, monitor and record costs with travel agents for flight information, hire cars and hotel booking
  • Completion of Purchase Orders and Credit Card Expenditure on Company finance systems
  • Provide support to Crewing Officers in the application of personnel visa and work permits

Your qualities

You can move ahead as a travel coordinator if you have:

  • Previously worked in an administrative role for at least 2 years
  • Have offshore survey industry and/or travel experience (desirable)
  • Able to demonstrate competency with IT skills
  • High standard of written and spoken English
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Has the full right to work in the UK

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent GCSE Grade C or above
  • Previous Crew management and/or travel Management qualification (desirable)

  • Fulltime job: The position of travel coordinator is a fulltime role, 37.5 hours per week plus out of hours working when required.
