Company Description
Working at Boskalis is about creating new horizons and sustainable solutions. In a world where population growth, an increase of global trade, demand for (new) energy and climate change are driving forces, we challenge you to make your mark in finding innovative and relevant solutions for complex infrastructural and marine projects
Boskalis has one of the largest global fleets of specialized offshore vessels, allowing us to carry out a broad range of offshore activities. We provide innovative and sustainable all-round solutions to tackle major worldwide maritime challenges. Our Offshore Energy division supports sustainable energy solutions such as wind energy as well as traditional fossil facilities. We’re involved in the entire journey from developing and transporting to maintaining and decommissioning these facilities.
Job Description
Within the Marine Services business unit, projects evolve around floating/moored structures, such as FPSO’s, FPU’s, TLP’s or SPAR’s as applied in O&G as well as in Floating Wind. Some of the projects this team has worked on, are the Offshore Wind Installation Kincardine and the EDP project in El Salvador.
Marine Services with its large fleet of Construction Support Vessels, large Anchor Handling and Towing Tugs, and submersible barges is perfectly positioned to cater for transporting and installing these type of structures. With the development of Floating Wind solutions worldwide Boskalis is expanding its fleet and organization further to cope with the increasing demand for our T&I expertise. You can make your mark as a Project Engineer at Boskalis Marine Services by being the linking pin between project preparation and executing these very large projects.
Using your expertise and experience in maritime projects, you will independently work on various aspects of a project. You will take care of the work methods and work preparation, and manage aspects like safety, planning, procurement, permits and maintain contacts with local authorities, to ensure that high-quality projects can be realized within the agreed requirements. You will report to the Lead Project Engineer. Being part of a project team you know how to communicate efficiently on different levels to achieve your goals.
Are you looking for a company that realizes challenging projects globally and provides you with the opportunity to travel and learn different cultures? Then we would like to get to know you better at Boskalis!
