Job Description
You are the strategic mind and the face of our business relationship with Ford, one of the largest automotive manufacturers worldwide. In this role, you not only shape sales strategies but also actively influence the success of our FIE components in a demanding automotive environment. - You develop and maintain customer relationships with Ford at all relevant levels (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing).
- Moreover, you independently manage the existing business and drive the acquisition of new projects.
- You are responsible for the commercial aspects of projects, prepare quotations, negotiate annual contracts, and ensure profitability (EBIT/STP).
- Planning, preparing, and executing acquisition activities are also part of your core responsibilities.
- In addition, you prepare precise and competitive quotations by reviewing customer requirements, assessing technical and economic feasibility, and analyzing risks.
- Furthermore, you manage the entire product lifecycle, from monitoring end-of-service to acting as the interface to the after-sales organization for price management.
- Lastly, you support program management in project planning, meeting milestones, and resolving customer issues within defined timelines.
Qualifications
- Education: completed university studies in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable subject
- Experience and Knowledge: several years of experience in a customer-facing sales role; strong knowledge of the Bosch acquisition process; pronounced commercial understanding and negotiation skills; ideally expertise in technical sales of FIE components; confident handling of customer and Bosch IT tool landscape
- Personality and Working Practice: you are able to work independently while proactively looking for ways to successfully complete tasks; you navigate confidently across all hierarchy levels, both internally and externally; you bring a self-motivated and flexible attitude combined with a high resilience, you enjoy working in a team and adapt quickly to new circumstances; you manage your time effectively and set clear priorities
- Work Routine: willingness to travel for business purposes
- Enthusiasm: you are passionate about communicating with customers and remain calm even in demanding situations; you embody Bosch’s values and represent them externally
- Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English
