Job Description
- As Vice President of Energy PS/CA-EY, you hold global responsibility for driving business development, sales, and strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of advanced energy technologies & digital services. Your primary focus is on electrochemical components like electrolyzer / fuel cell stacks or fuel cell systems, championing innovative solutions within key markets including e.g. North America, China, the Middle East, and Europe
- In addition to overseeing global sales for these components, you lead the expansion of hydrogen propulsion systems for trucks, buses, and stationary applications—pioneering new business opportunities, securing new customers, and spearheading initial project developments. Your remit extends to managing worldwide operations for components, software services, and factory-related service offerings, ensuring market-leading performance and customer satisfaction. You support other PS divisions to sell new innovations to the market and support new business models for PS
- You are accountable for continuously refining the business strategy and cultivating top-tier talent to meet evolving market demands. Building and leveraging a robust internal network is essential to accelerate business objectives effectively. Furthermore, you play a critical role in government relations and lobbying efforts, particularly in Brussels, Europe, and Berlin, to align political support with corporate goals and secure advantageous regulatory frameworks. Based on this you support the PS/BV / top management for their work in global associations / top level functions. You are also responsible to initiate & coordinate high level political stakeholder meetings which will support the business development. Even useful G2G and G2B meetings are initiated
- In partnership with your marketing team, you ensure impactful external communications and brand presence for hydrogen products through digital marketing, industry exhibitions, conferences, and events, positioning the company as a leader in the energy transition. Also you support H2 business and conferences / trade fare which are supported by other divisions. You speak / represent RB on conferences and panels
Qualifications
- Education: Balanced technical commercial background
- Personality and way of working: This role demands (very global) visionary positive leadership, cross-cultural expertise and a proactive approach to shaping the future of sustainable energy
- Experience and know-how: In a highly dynamic environment, the necessity to manage complexity and to make best decisions must be given. In this framework the team must be motivated for highest efficient value add for the business. Best experienced leaderships skills are essential.
A strong RB internal network for best stakeholder management is necessary as usual - Qualification: The position demands to create & manage the financial aspects creating customer offers as well as the legal, tax and compliance topics. Negotiation skills and psychological skills w/ highes values of empathy must be given, always w/ the target to create value add for Bosch and the business
- Enthusiasm: A strong willingness to set and reach sales targets is necessary. Strong customer and business focus must be given
- Languages: fluent German and English (professional proficiency mandatory)
