Job Description

In this role, you actively shape the profitable growth path of Bosch Interior Sensing Solutions (ISS). You are responsible for identifying new revenue potentials, attractive growth segments and scalable business opportunities for the Product Area and translating market insights into clear strategic directions.

By combining Market Intelligence, Strategic Business Development and Executive Decision Support, you enable the organization to prioritize the right growth fields, steer portfolio and investment decisions and strengthen the long‑term profitability and market position of Interior Sensing Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build, further develop and institutionalize a structured Market and Competitive Intelligence system, enabling continuous identification of growth opportunities and risks.
  • Translate market insights into strategic growth initiatives with clear growth hypotheses and strategic options (e.g. China strategy, new generation planning, portfolio expansion, new business models).
  • Prepare executive‑level briefings and decision documents that clearly highlight revenue impact, profitability, risks and strategic trade‑offs (e.g. BSM, VCP).
  • Support customer‑facing activities (pre‑selling, RFIs, RFQs) with market‑driven arguments that underline the value, differentiation and growth potential of the Interior Sensing portfolio.
  • Act as a key interface between strategy, product management, sales, finance and R&D, ensuring alignment between market opportunities, portfolio strategy and execution.

Qualifications

  • Education: completed master’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • Experience and Knowledge: Several years of professional experience in Strategic Business Development, Market Intelligence, Strategy, Product Management or a comparable role, ideally in an automotive environment. Strong expertise in market analysis, competitive intelligence, business case development and strategic storytelling. Experience in preparing management‑level decision documents and executive briefings. Solid understanding of interior sensing or ADAS market, software‑driven business models is a strong advantage. Proven ability to work across functions and regions in a complex organizational environment.
  • Personality and Working Practice: you have a strategic, structured and analytical mindset with a strong sense for prioritization and impact. Ability to translate complex market insights into clear, concise and convincing messages. High level of ownership, reliability and stakeholder orientation. Confident communicator with a collaborative working style.
  • Languages: fluent English, both written and spoken, German language skills are a plus
