Job Description
The Mobility Aftermarket division (MA) provides the aftermarket and repair shops worldwide with modern diagnostic and repair shop equipment and a wide range of spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. About 16,000 associates, as well as a global logistics network, ensure that spare parts reach customers quickly and on time. MA supplies testing and repair-shop technology, diagnostic software, service training, and information services. In addition, the division is responsible for the “Bosch Car Service” repair-shop franchise, one of the world’s largest independent chains of repair-shops.
The Karlsruhe location has been the headquarters of the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket division for over 40 years.
- In this position you are responsible for portfolio management of our 12V batteries, from market launch to phase-out.
- You regularly analyze the competition, identify opportunities, risks, and future trends to derive concrete recommendations for action.
- Acting as a central interface, you will ensure strategic alignment on portfolio, pricing, and communication with regional coordinators (Middle East, Africa, China, East Asia) and internal EU teams (Sales, Business Unit).
- By working closely with Purchasing, you build strong supplier relationships and guarantee adherence to Bosch requirements throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Based on product KPIs and the business unit's strategy, you will optimize master data quality, promote the automation of internal processes, and actively steer the portfolio.
- Last but not least, you lead internal projects, such as integrating new suppliers or introducing products in new regions, and drive AI initiatives to increase efficiency within the Business Unit.
Qualifications
- Education: completed university master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field
- Experience and Knowledge: several years of professional experience in product management, project management, or technical sales preferably with batteries; hands-on experience with software and AI is a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: you communicate complex topics clearly and collaborate constructively within teams; your work style is strategic and analytically strong, allowing you to derive actionable recommendations from market insights; leading projects and coordinating diverse stakeholders comes naturally to you.
- Work Routine: hybrid work model with two on-site days per week at the Karlsruhe location, willingness to travel for business up to 20%
- Languages: business-fluent English, both written and spoken; good German skills are an advantage
