Job Description
* Design and develop hardware solutions for new IoT products, considering cost, manufacturability and reliability.
* Create and test prototypes, iterating on designs based on feedback and testing results.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware engineers, software developers, and production engineers, to ensure seamless product integration.
* Develop and document manufacturing processes and procedures.
* Oversee the integration of new products into customer production lines, providing on-site support and training.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during production.
* Identify and implement process improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware technologies and manufacturing best practices.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in hardware design, prototyping, and manufacturing, preferably with IoT devices.
* Strong understanding of hardware development processes, including design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for testing (DFT).
* Experience with CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout (e.g., Altium, Eagle).
* Familiarity with various manufacturing processes
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
* Proficiency in German and English
