To accelerate our growth and product excellence, we must update certain DiY segments to be competitive. Hence, we seek you to transform parts of our DiY segment into new products. The role will be temporarily located in Leinfelden until the last product is launched.

Job Description

  • Evaluate production technology options: In close collaboration with the engineering team and potential suppliers, you evaluate various production technology options for newly designed parts to ensure technical feasibility, cost optimization, and innovation potential.
  • Supplier selection and management: You actively participate in the selection of strategically suitable suppliers, in close coordination with the Project Team and central Purchasing functions, to identify the best partners for the new product range.
  • Price negotiation and target achievement: You independently lead price negotiations with selected suppliers and ensure that the predefined cost, time, and quality targets for all procurement scopes are met.
  • Sampling management and technical changes: You manage the sampling schedule for new parts and coordinate technical changes with suppliers to secure the overall project schedule and enable a fast market launch.
  • Quality assurance in procurement: You align sampling requirements as well as the quality control plan for new purchased parts to ensure the highest quality standards from the outset.
  • Ensure Procurement Governance: Within the project team, you ensure compliance with internal purchasing guidelines and processes for all supplier-related topics.
  • Cost and quality improvement: After successful Start of Production (SOP), you identify and implement further measures for cost and quality improvement of purchased parts, if required.

Qualifications

Education: You have a university degree preferrable technical and working experience in the related topics

Experience and Knowledge: Knowledge in value analysis and project management

  • Value analysis, calculation methods
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience in Negotiations

  • High level of team orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High level of self-motivation and Self-confidence
  • High level of learning ability

Languages: German and English fluently
